In the short talks, our speakers will share success stories of building AI-driven features in to existing products.

In the panels between talks, we will dig in to the ingredients needed to make it happen. The first will focus on organisational challenges to overcome when applying AI to existing products, while the second will focus on how AI is changing product development itself.

About the speakers

Tjerk De Greef

Director Tech & Data at IBFD

As I Director Tech & Data, I am part of the Executive Board and primarily responsible for the fast adaptation of emerging technologies and to grow a culture of continuous innovation. I am driving IBFD’s digital transformation and promoting IBFD’s tech & data strategy. Driving the roadmap to deliver key technical and products features within reasonable time frames and budget constraints. Boosting product design thinking and develop experimental mindset around the application of advanced technologies.

Dr. Franziska Kirschner

Co-founder, Intropy AI

Dr. Fran started life as a physicist, completing her undergrad and PhD at Oxford. Driven by a desire to do something a little more applied, she switched to AI and and joined Tractable, a computer vision startup. After a few years as an AI researcher, she moved into product and launched several new multi-$M product lines. Now, Fran is a cofounder of Intropy AI, a startup working to enable enterprises to do more with generative AI. She also spends time as an AI advisor for startups and scale-ups. In her spare time, she loves to cook, eat, and travel the world to discover new and interesting types of potatoes (really).

Dr. Leslie Kanthan

CEO and co-founder of TurinTech

Dr Leslie Kanthan is CEO and co-founder of TurinTech, a leading AI Optimisation company that empowers businesses to build efficient and scalable AI by automating the whole data science lifecycle. Before TurinTech, Leslie worked for financial institutions and was frustrated by the manual machine learning developing process and manual code optimising process. He and the team therefore built an end-to-end optimisation platform – EvoML – for building and scaling AI.

CJ Jenkins

Applied Science Manager at Zalando

CJ is a reformed academic who spent many years building and deploying machine learning algorithms for various fintechs. She has spent recent times leading data and engineering teams, and loves helping people grow within their role and executing deliverables on time.

Jie Zheng

Senior DS & AI Manager at TUI GROUP

Jie Zheng, a seasoned Data Science and AI Manager at TUI brings over a decade of project management experience from the hospitality and travel industry. Her expertise in implementing various data science and AI solutions has significantly boosted profitability. Passionate about leadership and mentoring, Jie is committed to fostering an inclusive and learning culture within the data industry.

Luciana Cerolini

Project Manager – Artificial Intelligence, Provenir

Luciana, a project manager at Provenir, specializes in AI-powered risk decision-making software. She oversees data, analytics, and AML/AI aspects, collaborating with engineering and data science teams to align products with market needs. With six years in AI, she’s now focused on financial inclusion for banks and fintechs. Previously, she led a SaaS company’s implementation team, managing new system integrations, forming client partnerships, and enhancing accounts.
